In-Home Services

At Ellna’s, we are dedicated to providing exceptional in-home care services with compassion and expertise. Whether you require occasional five-hour support or 24/7 care, we tailor our Care Plans to meet your unique needs. Our comprehensive services include:

Personal Care

  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers.
  • Medication Management: Support with reminders and taking medications as prescribed.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help with walking, standing, and using mobility aids.

Companionship and Social Interaction

  • Social Engagement: Meaningful conversation, activities, and outings to alleviate loneliness and isolation.
  • Emotional Support: A caring presence to provide encouragement and a listening ear.

Household Tasks

  • Light Housekeeping: Help with cleaning, laundry, and other routine chores.
  • Meal Preparation: Meal planning, cooking, and serving nutritious meals.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assistance with errands, grocery shopping, and prescription pickups.

Transportation

  • To Appointments: Safe and reliable transportation for medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other outings using your vehicle only. Please note: To minimize costs, Ellna’s does not purchase vehicle insurance for staff.

Additional Services

  • Respite Care: Temporary relief for family caregivers, allowing them to rest and recharge.
  • Safety and Security Assessments: Identifying potential home safety hazards and providing recommendations for modifications.

In-Facility Care

At Ellna’s, we are committed to providing exceptional care services with compassion, professionalism, and expertise. Whether you require day care support or 24-hour care, we create personalized Care Plans tailored to your specific needs. Our dedicated team delivers customized programs and coordinates engaging daily activities that reflect each resident’s unique preferences, all within a warm and welcoming environment. Our comprehensive services include: 

Personal Care

  • Emotional Support: Offering encouragement, understanding, and compassionate companionship.

Meals

  • Personalized Meal Planning: Meals designed to accommodate clients’ preferences, allergies, dislikes, and nutritional needs.

  • Daily Meal Service: Three nutritious meals and two snacks provided daily.

  • Scheduled Mealtimes:

    • Breakfast: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM

    • Lunch: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

    • Dinner: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Day Care Clients: If clients arrive after breakfast and have not yet eaten, staff will ensure they receive a meal.

Activities

  • Daily Activity Schedule: Well-structured plans to enrich clients’ daily experiences.

  • Individualized Planning: Activities tailored to each client’s physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to ensure safety and engagement.

  • Interest-Based Activities: Programs designed to reflect clients’ hobbies and preferences.

  • Outdoor Activities: Weather-permitting, outdoor activities customized to meet the abilities and needs of all clients.

Transportation Services

Please note, Ellna’s does not provide transportation services. Families are responsible for arranging transportation for appointments, errands, and other outings.

Nursing Staff and Hospice –  Licensed nursing staff is not available at this time, although if the client has in home care (hospice, nurses, physical therapy and occupational therapy) they are welcomed at our facility.

Respite/Post-Operative Care Services

Whether you need a few hours to enjoy an outing with friends, a month-long vacation, or temporary care for a senior recovering from surgery, Ellna’s is here to provide the exceptional care your loved one deserves. We understand there are many reasons why you may require senior respite care, and we are committed to meeting those needs with the utmost professionalism and compassion.

At Ellna’s, the duration of your loved one’s stay does not affect the quality of support they receive. Our respite care guests are treated with the same level of dedication and respect as all our clients.

Respite care services are available both as an in-home service and on-site at our facility to suit your preferences and requirements.
